Our sewing instructor Andrea Verley created a video tutorial we called ‘Sew a Mask with Filter Pocket’.
We uploaded it to our YouTube channel thinking it would help people who wanted to sew their own masks. In six weeks’ time, the video had 160,000+ views!
We’re happy to provide that video and the written instructions for free but for those who don’t have time or interest in sewing their own, we have sewn some ourselves for purchase.
Masks come with your choice of two sizes of elastic (you’ll tie the ends on each side to suit your comfort). Sizes 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch elastic are available.
We don’t sell or recommend filters for use with the mask. We advise checking with your primary care health provider for recommendations appropriate to your situation.
As you are likely aware, these cotton masks are good for limiting the spread of your aerosolized breath, sneezes and coughs to others and are not intended (or able) to provide protection from others who are unmasked.
Special orders are welcome - send us a message!
